New books in the house!

I went to the Box Book sale by sgbookdeals on Saturday. You can buy any number of books that fit in the box at $50 sgd (approx $37usd, 2600 inr).

The fiction section including YA was pretty small. Even though I reached at 9.30 am, seems like most of the good books were already snatched up. A lot of books were also 2nd or 3rd books in the series. The children’s section was more or less empty except for star wars books. The non fiction section was slightly larger and better I felt.

BUT…after more than an hour of multiple rounds across tables, I did manage to find some books that interested me. I’m excited about the Chinese Science fiction books I was able to score.

I prefer the MPH booksale where you can get books for 8$ to 10$. But…it’s not as cheap as this one. No where in Singapore can you get these many new books for 50$.
