Looks like all I’m doing lately is buying more books and reading very less. Although I do manage to read regularly even if it’s not much, I still don’t feel a lot guilty about buying a lot of books. Just last weekend I went to this MPH warehouse sale to have a look. But you know how it goes, I ended up buying these books. Most of them were on my Wishlist so I’m quite happy 🙂
On a normal day I would list down all the books with the Amazon links but today I’m way too tired. Why don’t you just enlarge the pic and let me know if you’ve read any or looking forward to read any? Pretty please?
I really enjoyed The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie and Testimony. This looks like a great stack of books, I hope you like them!

Wow, you’ve a lovely haul there! I haven’t read any of those except Gaiman’s The Graveyard Book, which I enjoyed immensely.
Happy reading! 🙂

Hi Violet,
It sounds as if the new job is pretty demanding, I hope that it levels out a bit soon, so that you can get a bit more ‘me’ time, we miss your lovely posts.
Like you, I am reading quite slowly at the moment, mainly through lack of time and I am so envious of fellow bloggers, who seem able to get through a book a day and post their review to boot!!!
I haven’t read any of your great selection this week, but would be particularly attracted to the Meg Cabot and Anita Shrieve, so I look forward to reading your reviews in due course.
Take Care and keep posting when you can.

I hope you enjoy all your books. I read and enjoyed Ape House but is no comparison to Water for Elephants.
I received 3 books.

I recently read Testimony and while it wasn’t my favorite Shreve book, others seemed to like it better than me.
